You don’t need me to tell you that not every love story is romantic. In fact, when love stories involve cheating and divorce, they can get downright nasty. But this is one of those stories that takes it to a whole other level. In a series of dramatic twists and turns, this story takes us from the moment a young man and woman meet and fall in love, through their difficult first days of marriage, all the way to the fiery wreckage that was the end of their relationship.
What happens to the wife at the end will remind you that every decision has consequences. You may have heard a similar story before – a man and a woman are introduced by a mutual friend and the fall in love. They were inseparable for months, but the man was a soldier and eventually, he was called back to duty.
That’s when the man and woman decide to get married: The woman thought ‘hey, military wives get plenty of benefits as well as plenty of opportunities to travel and see their husbands, so why not?’ Most, importantly she was deeply, madly in love with her soldier beau. So what could possibly go wrong?
After the the military couple wed, something started happening to the bride: The wife began to suffer from violent seizures in her sleep. Her loving army husband stayed by her side as long as he could when he was not called away.
Luckily, she had medical insurance: Military spouses have access to the same excellent healthcare as the soldiers themselves, so treating her condition was not a problem. The soldier was extremely confident that his wife would make a full recovery and although sad to leave his wife when he was deployed, was happy to leave her in the arms of professionals.
But then, something strange started happening; The soldier husband knew whenever his wife had a doctor appointments and when she needed to take her medication. Soon he noticed his wife’s doctor visits had become more frequent. Sometimes she would go and see her doctor without any appointment scheduled. Still, he trusted that she was just doing what was best for her health.
